About GlitchType

GlitchType turns ordinary text into adjustable Unicode glitch text. Enter text, choose an intensity, select marks above or below, then copy the preview.

Characters, not a font

The effect adds Unicode combining marks to suitable Latin letters and digits. Existing accents, non-Latin scripts and emoji are preserved rather than rewritten. Previously added marks from our effect set are removed before applying another effect, which prevents unlimited stacking.

Keep it readable

Some apps reject combining marks or render them differently. Use short decorative text, test it in the destination and keep a plain-text version for accessible communication.
